Electra Protocol is a layer-1 blockchain which was launched in January 2021. As a result, its full capacity has not yet been deployed (such as validator nodes). However, anycan help to strengthen the Electra Protocol network by running a wallet-based node which will validate transactions as well. To do so, simply download the XEP Desktop Wallet (no other one will work) and begin staking XEP coins. The minimum amount you should stake is 1 million XEPs, in order to be considered by the reward mechanism.
How can I run a node?
Validator nodes will be additionally added in order to further speed-up transactions. But XEP Desktop Wallets will continue to support the network afterwards.
