Privacy Policy for XEP Wallet and OmniXEP Wallet
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This policy applies to the XEP Wallet and OmniXEP Wallet mobile applications for Android and iOS. It does not apply to the electraprotocol.com website, desktop wallets, or unrelated applications. On Google Play, both mobile wallets are published under the developer name Evoblox.io for the Electra Protocol community. Questions about this policy or the mobile wallets can be sent to dev@evoblox.io.
What the wallets do
XEP Wallet and OmniXEP Wallet are non-custodial wallets. XEP Wallet lets you manage XEP; OmniXEP Wallet also supports OmniXEP tokens and NFTs. You control your wallet and its recovery information. We do not create an account for you, take custody of your assets, or receive your recovery phrase or private keys. Keep your recovery phrase private: anyone with it may be able to control your assets.
Wallet information, including your recovery phrase or private keys, wallet settings, and locally displayed transaction history, is stored or processed on your device. You may choose to export or back up wallet information yourself; any destination you choose is outside our control. You can remove local wallet data using your device’s app-data controls; copies may remain in backups or secure storage managed by your operating system. Removing local data does not remove transactions from a public blockchain.
Network activity needed to use the wallets
The wallets must communicate with blockchain services to look up balances and transaction history and to broadcast transactions. These requests can include public wallet addresses, address-derived identifiers, transaction identifiers, and signed transaction data. A network service necessarily receives the technical information needed to answer a request, such as the connection’s IP address, while the request is being handled. The Electra Protocol production Electrum servers used by the wallets do not log or retain client IP addresses. We do not use these requests to create user profiles or for advertising. If you configure a different blockchain server, its operator’s privacy practices apply to your connection to that server.
Blockchain transactions and associated public addresses are visible on the public Electra Protocol network. Once broadcast, they cannot generally be deleted or made private by us. Do not put private information in a transaction or publicly visible token/NFT content.
XEP Wallet retrieves XEP-to-fiat values from an Electra Protocol ecosystem service to display approximate fiat amounts. This request is for exchange-rate information, not your recovery phrase or private keys. OmniXEP Wallet may retrieve public token or NFT information and related media when you use those features. The wallets do not require your name, email address, or phone number to perform ordinary wallet functions.
Data collection and analytics
Neither wallet collects or retains personal data from ordinary wallet use. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking, and we do not create user profiles. The temporary network requests needed to operate the wallets are described above. If you choose to contact support, the information you send is handled as described below.
Links, websites, and connected services
The wallets may offer links to a blockchain explorer, Electra Protocol community pages, or other websites. Opening a link sends you to that destination, usually through your browser; this policy does not govern independent third-party sites. Electra Protocol’s explorer does not log or retain visitor IP addresses or wallet data, as operated for these wallets. Other destinations may have their own privacy practices.
If you use OmniXEP Wallet’s web or connected-app features, information you choose to provide or authorize, such as a public account address or a transaction request, may be made available to the site or service you connect to. Review the destination and any request before approving it. Public blockchain information may also be viewed by anyone independently of the wallets.
Support requests
If you email dev@evoblox.io, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so we can respond. Please do not send a recovery phrase, private key, or password. Support correspondence is handled through the email service and retained only as needed to address the request and meet applicable obligations. You can ask about access to or deletion of your support correspondence at the same address; legal retention requirements may apply.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can stop using a wallet and use your device’s controls to remove its local data, subject to any backups or secure-storage copies managed by your device. There is no wallet account with us to close. For questions about information we may hold through support correspondence, or to exercise privacy rights available under applicable law, contact dev@evoblox.io. We cannot erase public blockchain records or data held independently by third-party websites or services.
Children
The wallets are not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through a support request, contact dev@evoblox.io.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when wallet features or data practices change. The date at the top will show the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected in the published policy before or when the relevant app update is released.
