How to install the XEP Desktop Wallet

The XEP Desktop Wallet is used if you want to store XEP coins on your local computer. This is the recommended way of storing your XEP holdings. In order to get started, follow these steps:

• Download a XEP Desktop Wallet for your operating system and install it.
• Generate a wallet address.
• Buy XEP coins on an exchange.
• Send the XEP coins from the exchange to your wallet address.
• Important: Backup your wallet.
• Begin staking your XEP coins.

After the installation took place, the installation folder will contain your wallets folder, xep.conf, and your copy of the blockchain your wallet downloaded. You can access the installation files here:

• Windows: C:/Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/AppData/Roaming/XEP
• Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/XEP
• Linux: ~/.xep

You can also install and store your XEP coins on a Raspberry Pi mini computer.
