Remaining 2021 premine burnt

With the official creation of the blockchain in January 2021, the Electra Protocol community reserved XEP coins for conducting its operation. These reserved coins are the so-called called premine, and the premine is distributed into different stakes for the years 2021 to 2024.

At the end of 2021 the XEP coins, which have not been used, were burnt on these dates:

  • 2021-10-31: 25,000,000 XEP
  • 2021-11-07: 35,000,000 XEP
  • 2021-11-14: 40,000,000 XEP
  • 2021-11-21: 50,000,000 XEP
  • 2021-11-28: 60,000,000 XEP
  • 2021-12-05: 75,000,000 XEP
  • 2021-12-12: 125,000,000 XEP
  • 2021-12-19: 226,927,946 XEP (the rest of the 2021 premine)

As a result, the 2021 XEP premine address now has a blance of 0 XEP (see Block Explorer).
